Do you know someone that would be a great fit for our environment? The White Rock store is looking for a part-time energetic, hard working, people-person who LOVES wine. The job will be mainly production with some customer service (15-20 hrs per week). Production will include heavy lifting (50+lbs) and lots of cleaning (but other fun stuff).

Founder, Gord Andrews, started his amateur winemaking career in 1969 making wine using fresh grapes from the Okanagan Valley, California, and Washington State. In the 1990's, the quality of the 'kit' wines developed dramatically, to the point where one could make an exceptional wine by enhancing the wine 'kit' with extra ingredients.

Gord started a business making wine from his home in 1995 and with it growing very rapidly, he soon found it necessary to open a store front. His first store opened in May 2000 at Windsor Square in White Rock. He was there until May 2005 when his business grew to a point he had to move to a larger space. In 2012 he also acquired another local U-Vin, Coastal Wines, merging it with Crescent Wines that same year.

Gord retired in 2017 but not before passing on his knowledge and skill over the years to current owner Kathy Lawler (owner and operator of the Langley store for 16 years).

Allison, Kathy's daughter, joined Crescent wines in November 2018 shortly after Kathy and John acquired the White Rock/South Surrey store. You'll enjoy her enthusiasm and love of wine as she gets to know you and the wines you love.

You will also see Brody, Allison's husband, helping part-time at both the Langley and White Rock stores doing production and taking care of your wine.

Lorna was with Crescent Wines for over 11 years. What started out as a part-time position for her, quickly turned into a passion. She loves our wine and took great pride in what we do. We were very sorry to see her leave our family recently, however she wants to spend more time with hers and pursue her crafting business. You may see her pop by occasionally to visit. We wish her all the success in any new ventures.

Our store is spacious, clean, and simple. We offer automatic bottle fillers, power corkers and instant shrink cappers to quicken the bottling process. We take pride in making our store one of the best in the business.

Whenever I take my wine to friend’s homes, they are always so impressed with the flavour as well as the price. My favourites are the Cabernet Merlot and the Gewürztraminer.”

While bottling her wine Florence says to Paula, “Now when I go out, I don’t really enjoy the store bought wine. Crescent’s wine is much better!”

Carol Purkis has been bottling wine for 15 years at Crescent Wines and she states “ I have been extremely happy will all the wine I have made. It is awesome and our whole family enjoys the wine. It is especially popular at our family gatherings.”
